I bought these to replace the wheel set on my commute bike. The customer service was prompt and accurate when I enquired about axle options. Delivery was prompt and everything was packaged securely and even included extra spokes (nice touch). The wheels are properly stealth - only a subtle bit of branding on the hub. The freehub is loud and the high pitched buzz may be off putting to some but it does mean you don’t sneak up on people! After a few weeks of urban riding the wheels have stayed tight and true, the hubs roll quickly and whilst they weren’t bought to be light, they have livened up my bike a bit. Throughly recommend the company and wheels.

Have been looking for this size wheel as it was the one the bike came with, eventually that got damaged, and the only 27.5 wheel available was 2.4, when I really wanted a 2.8...after destroying several 2.4's I seen this one Heaven send!!
300 miles done on The Beast so far, I must say I am well impressed by the quality of the wheelset.
The Beast are lighter and more responsive than stock's wheels that came with the bike.
Great lateral rigidity when pedalling out of the saddle too.
The freehub sounds (loud) like the freehub on much more expensive wheelsets, making few heads turn (which is nice :) ).
The Wheels came with freehub's spacers and spare spokes too: Great job guys!
I would strongly reccomend The Beast (Great name BTW) and Wheelhut!
Can't fault this wheel, smooth rotation, well built, true out of the box - fit my needs perfectly. Will be using wheelhut for all future purchases of wheels for sure
Great so far. Time will tell as far as longevity is concerned, but first impressions are good. Both wheels seem really well built and the components look good for the price. Delivery was quick. Inclusion of rim tape and a couple of spare spokes is handy too.
These are on a bike that I use for a mix of commuting and light trails, replacing a very cheap KX set which did not last very long. Hoping these will hold up a bit better. Initial assumption is that they will, because they seem to be much better quality all round.
The hub sounds like a swarm of angry bees and gets the attention of pedestrians better than any bell could, so nice added bonus there.
