Bought these as a like-for-like swap for the factory fit Alexrims on my Merida Crossway 20MD Hybrid as the bearings were on the way out and it seemed uneconomical to pay to get some more fitted to 10 year old rims when these new complete wheels are about the same cost. They arrived quickly and swapping them over was straightforward if you already have a cassette removal tool. I've only been out on them once so far, but they work well, appear to be true and the bearings seem very smooth. The supplied rim tape also appears to be of good quality. They're not very light though - about the same as the Alexrims that came off... but they're at least as good as you'd expect at this price point.
These rims are also completely dead straight on arrival and are so well built to factory rims on my new MTB this year. Would highly recommend this Mavic and hub combination if you have 9/10 drivetrain and slghtly more dated QR frame/forks. Transformed the bike
