Suitable for 700c hybrid bikes and 700c Gravel/cyclocross bikes with disc brakes
Clincher wheel
Double-wall rim with eyeleted spoke holes for extra strength and durability
High End Taiwan NBK sealed bearings (6 bolt) disc hub - QR 10x135mm (High strength hub and very smooth)
QR skewer and rim tape included
Schrader valve hole (Presta tubes can also be used with the use of a grommet/valve adaptor. Grommet is not included.)
7/8/9/10/11 speed cassette compatible rear hub (A 7 speed cassette will require a spacer. Spacer only included if a 7 speed cassette is purchased with the wheel)
Please note if you intend to fit an 11 speed cassette to this wheel, please contact us first before ordering to check compatibility.

Good wheel

Bought this for a customer looking for a stronger wheel when the wheel in his Whyte bike kept cracking at the rim. Strong wheel with the eyelets, customer hasn’t been back after several weeks. Not too heavy. Good service from Wheelhut, it was supposed to cum with QR & rim tape, but it wasn’t in the box, when I contacted them, they sent it the next day. Will be using again 👍

Really good value and top notch service

I needed a new rear wheel to replace a failed Mavic one on my commuter/ touring bike and found Wheelhut through Ebay. I wasn't sure which wheel I needed but I emailed the website and they replied straight away, asking a few questions to make sure I got the right answer (this is probably at about 1800-1900). Paid the money and the wheel arrived nicely packed the next day - free delivery too.

I waited a few weeks to write the review because I was a little nervous as to how it would hold up. Whilst its fairly heavy it feels solid and well-made. The freehub is maybe the only weak point by the feel of it, but my last one felt good and fell to pieces in about 8 months so only time will tell.
The tyre went on easy and so did the cassette. Supplied with rim tape for set up with tube. I haven't set up tubeless so I can't comment on that.

I used the wheel with fully loaded panniers on and off road and on bridleways over the bank holiday, it definitely took some impact at speed with a lot of weight on and it has held up perfect.

I am very happy with my purchase so far and will almost certainly be buying the front one too once my current Mavic wheel has worn out.
